 I's still sorely tempted by a large electric self-powered potato with wheels but I think this will be a bit better handling.
It's an 80s Ford, a sporty one, a bargain one, FWD and far less doors and space than the initial guesses..... and yes Tom you'll like it, in fact you were considering buying one!
Now that's so easy I'd be as well putting a pic up of it

an xr2 then, i said that!
Ade- 06-16-2008
Yep sure is! Although I did miss that inamongst the tricycle and barstool....
Mk2 XR2, looks really solid, and a bargain price... but I'm not posting pix up here yet though, don't want to jinx the sale

We don't get a rolling 25 year rule sadly.
But a Mk2 can still be added to my modern classic insurance policy for about £10!
mrnice- 06-16-2008
cool!, can i have it when you've broken it?
demadodgydave- 06-16-2008
I hate Fiesta's....

Everyone at some point in life should drive a mk2 XR2. THe first go I had in one was on the road from Bellside to newmains/shotts/murdostoun (the local's will know where I mean). The owner/seller told me to give it some...but the road wasn't gritted. I had the thing locked up, full lock left on ice heading for a 90 degree left thru a bridge at about 55  . lifted off/shut my eyes/ sharp intake of breath.. and made it! needless to say I bought it. Had it for about two months then broke it up. Had an XR2i also. Just not the same  Tremendous car
